Ayalur is a village situated about 25 kilometers Southwest of Palghat in Palghat District, Kerala State, India and 3 K.M from Nemmara Village. Nemmara village is situated on the eastern side of Ayalur. Frequent buses are available from Palghat Municipal Bus Stand to Ayalur. First bus starts at about 6.00 a.m. and last bus at about 7.00 PM.

Ayalur bus stand is about 100 yards from the eastern gate of Shiva Temple. From Nemmara lot of buses are available to Chittilancheri-Mudappallur-Vadakkancheri-Trichur etc. on western side and to Kollengode-Pollachi-Coimbatore etc. on eastern side.
