Schools
In older days only three schools were availale at Ayalur,
- Palakapotta Primary School,
- Middle school (1 standard to 4th standard for boys and 1st to 7th for girls) ) and
- S.M.High School(I Form to III Form for boys and IV to VI Form common for boys and girls ) at Thalavattampara.
Now S.M.High School is upgraded upto 12th (+2) standard Moreover two more English Medium Schools have come in Ayalur but details are not available.
